The CFA exams are the most renowned qualifications for finance professionals worldwide and the MBF programme covers more than 70 per cent of the candidate body of knowledge for all three levels of the CFA programme. The CAIA Association is the world leader in the education of professionals in the area of alternative investments. GARP sets the global standard in professional certification with the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) and Energy Risk Professional (ERP) certifications.
These partnerships enable the MBF to award CFA, CAIA and GARP scholarships each year to outstanding MBF students who embark on the programme, which makes it possible for them to take the corresponding and internationally recognized exams at a reduced fee.
Moreover, the University of St. Gallen with its Institute of Insurance Economics is member of the Global Centers for Insurance Excellence. The GCIE is a society of 20 universities at which outstanding research and teaching are conducted in the fields of risk management and insurance economics.
