HSG’s Communications Department introduces a high-definition, live-interview option for journalists who want to interview professors and researchers for television broadcasts.
Part of the Globelynx satellite network
As a part of the Globelynx network, HSG joins more than 80 universities, companies and nonprofits worldwide that are connected directly to broadcasters. The service includes access to an online database with profiles and contact details of HSG experts in multiple fields at one of Europe’s leading business universities.
Information for broadcasters
Broadcaster registration on the Globelynx website takes only a few minutes. The Globelynx camera and services are provided free of charge (normal satellite booking charges apply). Once an interview time has been agreed to by both the broadcaster and the HSG expert, a live feed must be booked through the Globelynx online booking system. Broadcasters looking to login for the first time can contact Amira Adjal.
Getting the signal
The Globelynx network delivers feeds from its 80+ cameras to BT Tower in London. You must then book a fiber connection to BT Tower London to receive the feed. Alternatively, the Globelynx master control is located at Telenor in London, which is a major teleport providing uplink to many other satellites.
